Winterbourne Bassett v Mogador Wanderers
After winning the toss again, the Mogs elected to bat again and makeshift openers Lewis (56) and Abbott (29) batted beautifully in an opening partnership of 84. Both went within an over of each other however and our middle order went a bit quiet, before Martin (37*) and Hewitt (31*) slogged some late runs including a very large straight 6 by the skipper off J Richards who was playing for the oppo! The Mogs declared on 215/5 giving us 45 overs to bowl them out. Despite bowling well we couldn't quite get the opposition out despite a good opening spell from Joe Lewis and Johnny Parker's Underwood-like spell of 4-31 at the end with Winterbourne Bassett finishing on 155-8.
