A solid win by the mighty Mogs yesterday with a terrific all round performance seeing us home by 3 wickets with 4 overs to spare. All of the bowlers bowled well with Chris "Barry" Mankelow (3-39), Tharpy (3-32), James "Le Taxi" Honeyfield (2-25) & Jamie "Monkey Face" Freeland (1-10) the pick, well supported by excellent fielding and even better keeping by Parker, who stood up to everyone bar Jamie in comfortably his best display of the season.
Lee (32) got our innings off to a great start but a clatter of wickets saw the Mogs reduced to 89-5 with 20 overs left. Freeland & Hewitt batted really well, puttiong on exactly 100 and they saw the target reduce to just 11 before Hewitt (60) was bowled but Tharp (10) and Mankelow (4*) joined Freeland (52*) to register a win by 4 wickets with 4.4 overs spare.
Excellent win with everyone contributing & post match libations were taken with the objective of winning our last 2 games of the season to ensure we will have won twice as many games as we have lost.
